Pastors Jimmie and Laturia Lee
Pastors Jimmie and Laturia Lee met in Hawaii over thirty-two years ago while serving in the United States Navy. June 23, 1990, they were married and blessed with two beautiful daughters. Both veterans have committed over 40 years combined, serving their country and community; a purpose far greater than themselves.
As stewards of service and purpose, Jimmie and Laturia were called by the Lord to fulfill an assignment to elevate the kingdom. They answered the call November 1993 under the leadership of the late Dr. Shelia J. Spencer, Times of Refreshing Ministry while simultaneously pursuing higher education at Belhaven Christian College in Altamonte Springs Florida majoring in Business Administration/Christian Education. They later joined Lighthouse of Deliverance under the leadership of Apostle Nathaniel Weathers Jr., where they served in various capacities such as ushers, armor bearers, secretary, Sunday School teachers, community outreach, etc.. In 2002 they were ordained as ministers. In 2005, the Lord elevated them to Assistance Pastors and finally in 2006 they were elevated to Pastors.
The hunger to be intentional, purposeful and rewarded in God's assignments based on His direction; Jimmie and Laturia knew it was time to make yet another difficult but necessary decision. In 2006, God place upon their hearts to leave Lighthouse of Deliverance in Apopka, Florida to contribute to kingdom building at the We’re For Jesus House of Prayer under the leadership of the late Apostle Dr. Robert L. Jones, currently lead by Bishop Elijah Johnson Jr., where they have been serving faithfully for the past fifteen years.
Jimmie and Laturia`s mission is to use life experiences and divinely given revelations to encourage the body of Christ. It is their vision to build a church where people would be encouraged to realize their full potential in Jesus Christ, to be able to overcome life’s circumstances, and to experience success spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially through the power of the Holy Spirit, while continually spreading the love of Jesus Christ everywhere they go. They model their lives after “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct thy path” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
